About us

Britain's energy system needs an upgrade, and electrification is the answer. Cheaper bills, better homes, thriving industries, and secure, homegrown energy are all within our grasp. But today, high electricity costs and dependence on volatile gas markets hold us back. We are calling for urgent reform to fix this. By switching to upgraded, affordable electric technologies, we can bring bills down, modernise homes and businesses, and build a stronger, more resilient economy across the whole of Britain.

Backed by EDF and Octopus Energy, Electrify Britain is a campaign working with people, businesses, and decision-makers across the country to deliver this change. From new homes to small businesses, from community solar to heavy industry, electrification can be our national success story. Our campaign is dedicated to driving a national upgrade to affordable, modern electric technologies across homes, businesses, industry and communities.

The opportunity is clear: fairer energy bills can drive adoption of these technologies, unlocking huge benefits for homes, businesses, and industry. By tackling unfair bills, we can make energy more affordable and help Britain thrive. If you agree that it's time to modernise Britain's energy system and make it work for everyone: join us.
